The 22nd WMA/WMRA World Masters Mountain Running Championships will be held in Calheta from September 15th to 17th, 2023.

This world championship for mountain running veterans is organized by AARAM – Associação de Atletismo da Região Autónoma da Madeira, the World Mountain Running Association, World Masters Athletics and World Athletics.
